Patricia holds a joint master’s degree in Sustainable Aquaculture from the University of the Highlands and Islands (UK), the University of Crete (GR), and the University of Nantes (FR). She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Fish Physiology at the University of Crete (GR), investigating the development of individual stress coping styles in fish in order to improve their welfare in captivity. With hands-on experience as a production manager and consultant in the aquaculture industry, Patricia combines scientific expertise with practical insights. Over the past years, she has collaborated with organizations and small-scale producers to enhance welfare standards and promote sustainable practices within the aquaculture sector.
