This project is aimed at determining the impact of several interventions to promote higher welfare standards for broiler chickens. This short-term consulting service will involve the use of the analytical framework for the assessment of the physical and psychological pain emerging as a consequence of different welfare challenges to which commercial broiler chickens are exposed to. The type of research work is similar to that shown in this book. An initial (short) assignment may be offered to applicants.
